I’ve been using this Omron step counter for at least four years now. I first selected this model when Consumer Reports rated it highly. I agree. I’ve used many others, and they are pretty worthless. It’s got to be reliable and accurate, and this one is. It will even pick up steps in pocket or purse. Easy to read and easy to program. I’m a nurse and health educator, and I recommend this to my students. I take it off my waistband and flash the memory to show how many steps I’ve had over the past week. Very motivating.

Like any stepcounter, they will get lost–fall off your waistband. The extra clip does help. Even if it goes through the wash, it can still be dried out and work. 2032 battery gives long life. At moderate price of $20, and with excellent service from Amazon, I can replace easily.

This product came very quickly in the mail and was a lot less expensive than buying in the stores. Very easy to use and works great!
Curious George Lunch Napkins

I’ve had it for a couple of months, and it’s a really cheap little product… and works just fine. No need to spend hundreds on any other HDMI cables. I bought this one for about $3 with free shipping (and that’s all I bought). It shipped to my home within a few days and I plugged it into my laptop. It works. I barely use it though, because I just haven’t had more of a time to experiment with it. For the most part, its great!

thought i needed to have this appliance for the fact that it could be used as a portable mini computer, i just thought about all the money i would have to spend to get songs i liked and would probably get bored after a while and just decided to give it to my nine year old to play with, good if you have the money to spend on every song you like and if you’re always able to find free wi-fi

At first reading, the common reaction to this book is that it is refreshingly extraordinary, but like all exquisite prostitutes, they remain what they are; prostitutes. This book has only one purpose – to deceive. The most believable lies are those mixed with a pint of truth, those mixed with a dose of familiarity and that is what this book is all about. I just want to pose a warning to those who are Christians – This book will send you to hell. This book is what Ephesians 4:14 is talking about. He who has ears, let him hear.

Very nice addition to my garmin gps. Small enough to fit almost anywhere in your vehicle, yet big enough to firmly hold the unit.

Artemis Fowl
Eoin Colfer

The main character is Artemis Fowl, a 12-year-old boy who is a cunning mastermind. He won’t stop until he gets his hands on fairy gold. Another important character is Captain Holly Short who is a magical elf on LEPrecon. She has no time to “refuel” her magic so her magic is very weak.

Artemis plans to take a fairy hostage for large sums of fairy gold! He is doing this evil scheme so that he can restore the Fowl family’s reputation and fortune.

The setting of the story takes place in many different locations but mostly at the Fowl mansion. The story goes on for a long 10 days, in current time.

The theme of this story is money because Artemis tries to steal fairy gold to reestablish his wealth.

I liked the story because you could never put the book down. It always kept you guessing on what the next step would be for the LEPrecon force and how Artemis would react.

A Sentimental Trip Home

Although I grew up in the 70’s I’m ashamed to say that until his “Harvest Moon” CD I was relatively unfamilar with Neil Young’s music. Oh, I knew the hits that played on AM radio when I was a teenager, but the depth of his artistry had not taken root in me until more recent years. Given my personal history that is probably just as well, since I’m not sure I’d have known how to appreciate him as much as I do now. It has taken some time for me to experience the kind of love, regret, and gratitude that Niel Young’s songs speak to so well.

So for me this concert film was a moving experience. It renewed my appreciation of the “Prairie Wind” album as a significant milestone in Neil’s discography, providing much more personal context from Neil’s life. And, re-experiencing those older songs in light of my older age (and his) also helped them to say new things.

The simplicity and beauty of Neil’s singing … the love that you sense on-stage between Neil, his band, and the backup singers … the level of respect from the audience … the editing that avoids MTV-style quick cuts … all of these combine to make this a profoundly beautiful experience.

I bought this for my eleven year old granddaughter to play with while she spends time with me, but I find that it also keep me busy playing her games when she is not here.
