This item only cost a couple of dollars — a fraction of what I’d pay in a store. It works just as well as any other $30+ HDMI cable I’ve purchased. I’d definitely recommend it.

Twilight is one of the best books for anyone who enjoys a lot of action and heart-breaking romance. Isabella Swan, nicknamed Bella, moves from her home to Pheonix, Arizona to live with her dad, Charlie (or Chief Swan) in Forks, Washington. Bella makes new friends, including Mike and Jessica. But then she meets an extremely handsome vampire, Edward Cullen, at her school, Forks High School. She gets to know Edward and his family, the Cullens. I would say the part with the most action is when she got chased by bad vampires, who have a desire to kill her. I would recommend this book to anyone ages 10 and above, but some of the words and sections may not be appropriate for lower ages because of the romance.

Book-Water for Elephants A very different book. Not bad reading, but far from exceptional. Would rate it a three and one half stars.

I am a college English instructor, and I have taught this book for many semesters now. Not only do my students appreciate that I assign them a contemporary books, but semester after semester, they genuinely enjoy the book – even the students who claim to have never finished a book before. It leads to great discussions in class and well-thought out essays. It’s such a treat when I can find a novel that really inspires me students to read!

The cable works out of the box. I use it to connect my PS3 to my screen. Nothing to complain. Great choice to save some bucks.

The only reason this has one star is because there is no zero star option. Like the increased number of rows in Excel but that’s the only bright point in MS office 2007. The ribbon toolbar is not intuitive and was changed just for the sake of change. It adds no value to the product and needs to be reverted. For anyone who is technically inclined it causes you to spend endless hours to find out how to do anything in MS office. Things that have become almost instinctive are now painful. The new version of office should be banned as a public menace.

For people who have never used MS office I suppose it works just fine, but for we who use it daily it is nearly useless. Get open office or an earlier version instead.

Bernadette Vadurro has provided a wealth of detailed information and its my hope that this excellent book will be read all over America. America’s Conscience, provides the information essential for an informed electorate. An informed electorate is critical, for without it democracy cannot possibly fulfill its potential.

As Lincoln said, “Democracy is government of the people by the people.” That means citizens comprise the government and it is political leaders who are elected to be servants of the people.

There can be no excuse for ignorance. It is ignorance that has allowed power to defer to a sophisticated, arrogant, dishonest and exceptionally dangerous administration. It is time people woke up before its too late. American Conscience is the place to start.

The Bush administration, the entire neocon cabel, and sadly, the response of the American people themselves–has had a profoundly negative impact across the planet. The tired and hungry of the world have looked to America with its promise of justice and freedom for all, and found it wanting.

I’m deeply concerned for it seems, barring some drastic changes, the world is headed into a profoundly unsafe state, where extremism becomes the norm and violence a way of life.

Bernadette, provides an unflinching examination of what is transpiring in her country and calls upon her fellow citizens to reclaim the promise of their nation, to hold political leaders to account and thereby bring about the required course correction–not just for the United States, but for the impact it has on the rest of the world as well.

America s Conscience Facing

I have to admit I enjoyed this book – the settings were very interesting, and the main character, Jacob, was very likable.

However, I was incredibly disappointed by the love story that takes center stage. If you’re looking for a book with a female lead you can root for, this is DEFINITELY not it. Marlena is the main star of the equestrian act and loves horses and for that – and that alone – you are supposed to love her.

The two of them – Jacob and Marlena – bond over their shared passion for animals (he’s the circus vet) and hiding from her crazy husband, but there is no real spark between them to latch onto as a reader, and their whole relationship leaves something to be desired. Actual chemistry, maybe?

In addition to that, the storyline is often incredibly contrived, to a point where by the end I couldn’t bring myself to buy into any of it anymore.

An amusing read, just the same, but I didn’t find it to be all it was cracked up to be.
