I knew I desired a Medela, but some of their pumps count in at 8 hammers , and I knew I didn’t want anything that NEEDED to utilise the complimentary ” fashionable backpack “. When I found out the Swing, and read the reviews, I knew it was what I wanted. It is closely as compact as hand pumps, but utilizes the same two phase natural action as the more expensive Medela Swing Breast Pump. It is comfortable to utilise , I’ve had no problems with leaking , it looks more efficient and in the main I simply actually like this pump. The Swing Pump is very nice since you can correct the quantity of suction to your liking. I does not hurt like all the Medical Level unities I have tried and bought. It is not as noisy as some have painted a picture. I creates the same quantity of noise that any electric pump puddles . And the only ground that milk gets sucked up in the tube is if the white tissue layer sticks and doesn’t let the milk free fall into the bottle (so you have to assist it not stick by manually pulling the flap spread a few times until the milk menstruates by itself). And that can be a ground why the suction is not as good as well (the tissue layer may be worn out and asks substituting ). I have had to speak with many lactation nurses and I utilise Olive Oil on my teats before I pump so that it doesn’t irretate my nipples when pumping (makes it smoother not as rough ). I also massage my white meats as I pump. This is a MAJOR ground why some adult females can not produce as much when they pump. If you utilise the ” CARBON” method of keeping your breast to massage them (or any method you determine comfortable , it may expect a few different means ) you will get a lot more milk in a lot less time . I produce more milk than many adult females who nurse solely . I know this is because of two reasons , I imbibe a long ton of water and I massage my white meats while pumping. I pump about 40 apothecaries’ ounces a day . As for the power cord rift, I have not had this problem.
