I adore the kindle 2. I saw it advertised on amazon and I immediatly wanted one. actually, i had never even heard of a kindle before kindle 2 but it looked techy and i like that. I recieved it as a gift and I never read the instructions- it was easy to set up. I was worried that it would be uncomfortable to read on it because i hate reading off computers but this looked like a legitamate book. I use it for school because i can buy books withing seconds and for far cheaper than at the book store. I can highlight, underline, bookmark and have it read to me aloud if I happen to feel lazy. It has a dictionary, and internet that is a bit faster than my blackberry. The only thing that frustrates me is that there is not page numbers and It becomes harder to keep up with the class and there is no backlight so i have to bring an ugly book light with me on trips to read at night. other than that, it’s perfect. get one…..be green
