The Kindle International (Canada) has become an indispensable item for me! The ability to download ebooks so quickly and carry all my favourites as well as new books and authors is immensely liberating. I enjoy being able to also subscribe to magazines and newspapers. The eInk display is beautiful to look at with no eye strain. The navigation is intuitively easy and quick to master.
I hope that Amazon will continue to work on web access for international customers. I find the Wikipedia link very useful and would very much like to see links to Google, Amazon and other useful websites. I would also like to see more (Canadian) and international content as the Kindle grows in popularity outside of the U.S.A.
I now take my Kindle with my everywhere I go. For anyone who enjoys reading and would enjoy access to a huge quantity of books, but also blogs, magazines and newspapers, the Kindle is the tool for you. I hope the international version will continue to develop more accessibility and that the experimental options (web access, Text-to-Speech and Music Player) become even better than they now are.
It is a pleasure to find and download a new book or audiobook (from Audible) and be able to read while listening to my favourite music. Or listen to a book with text-to-speech while I work. The built-in dictionary is a great feature for those of us who, sometimes, forget the exact definition of our favourite authors words.
In conclusion, the Kindle International is a great product that will only become better!
